Theresa A. Soellner, 70, Worked at Scott’s Rest Home, Coppola Bus

Theresa A. (Cunningham) Soellner, 70, of Haverhill, wife of the late John G. Soellner Jr. who died July 30, passed away Sept. 4, at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Reginald M. and Lillian M. (Heroux) Cunningham. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1964. Soellner was employed at the former Scott’s Rest Home in Haverhill, a family owned business, for many years. She assisted in all aspects of operations. When the owner became ill, she took over and ran the business until its closing. She was also employed for Coppola Bus Company, Bradford, driving school buses for many years. She loved spending time at the beach, camping with her family, shopping and yard sales.

She is survived by her children, Michael S. Soellner and John G. Soellner III, both of Haverhill; sister, Janet M. Cunningham and her companion Linda Ahern of Lee, N.H.; aunt, Virginia Beaulieu of Haverhill; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael J. Rossetti.

Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
