NECC to Detail Medical Interpreter Program at Sept. 9 Info Session

Northern Essex will host an information session on Saturday, Sept. 9 for those interested in pursuing its noncredit Medical Interpreter Certificate Program from 10 to 11 a.m. in Lawrence.

The 10-week noncredit program is offered in two sections. Classes are held on Saturdays beginning Sept. 23 through Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at NECC Riverwalk in Lawrence, as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings in Haverhill from 6 to 9 p.m.

NECC’s program is designed for those students seeking an entry-level medical interpreter role, or for students preparing for the national board exam. To enroll, students must be fully bilingual, fluent in English and one other language.
