Dedication of the Art Walk at the Mayor James J. Fiorentini Bradford Rail Trail takes place next Sunday, Sept. 10.
The ceremony recognizes Pentucket Bank and President Scott Cote for the bank’s $25,000 donation that helped make the Art Walk possible, and each of the five sculptors, Dave Borrus, Dale Rogers, Susan Kneeland, Susan Blim and Jack Welch.
Tim Jordan, Art Walk co-chair, along with Rebecca York and Jeff Grassie, will serve as masters of ceremonies, at noon, behind Arthur Sharp Hardware, 21 Middlesex St., on the trail.
Following the dedication, those in attendance will be invited to join the artists on a walk along the trail, stopping at each of the five sculptures. Each artist will talk about his or her contribution, explaining the inspiration, materials used and other information about their sculpture.
After the tour, Roma Restaurant hosts an artist reception with light appetizers. Those interested in attending are asked to email Jordan at [email protected].
