Haverhill’s YMCA invites members of the community to attend its free dinner recognizing the group’s volunteers on Thursday, Sept. 14 at the Renaissance Country Club.

Carrying the theme of “Be a Local Hero,” the evening will lead into the YMCA’s fall campaign of programs, Tracy Fuller, the Regional Executive Director of the YMCA of North Shore, tells WHAV.

Three local YMCA volunteers will be honored at the Sept. 14 dinner: Melissa Drew-DeFrank (Youth Development), Tim Jordan (Social Responsibility) and Adam Desmaris (Healthy Living).

To attend the YMCA dinner, held at 377 Kenoza Street from 6 to 8 p.m., RSVP to [email protected] before Sept. 7.
