Seth A. Dallaire, 28, Created Crowdsurf Central Website

Seth A. Dallaire, 28, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at home, Aug. 25, after fighting cancer eight and a half years.

Dallaire was born Sept. 13, 1988, in Morrisville, Vt. He is the son of Lance and Gretchen (Swan) Dallaire of Haverhill. He graduated from Pentucket Regional High School with the class of 2007, furthered his education at Northern Essex Community College and graduated with a bachelor’s from University of Maine, Farmington, in 2013.

He created and maintained the website Crowdsurf Central, a website dedicated to connecting New England’s punk rock and pop-punk music scene. The website will continue and will be operated by friends. He loved playing sports and attending sporting events as well as attending concerts and interviewing bands for articles for Crowdsurf Central.

Dallaire was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, his uncle, Kurt Swan, and several cancer victim friends he made while at Boston’s Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Fund Clinic. He is survived by his parents, Lance and Gretchen; brother, Joshua and his partner Joe Arcisz; an aunt and godmother, Kirsten Swan; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.

Dallaire’s family thanks the medical staff at Boston Children’s Hospital, The Jimmy Fund Clinic, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, hospice and his many friends who called, visited, sent cards, connected with him via social media and texted with him through his fight against cancer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Thursday, Aug. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (route 125), Bradford. His funeral service is Friday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m., at the Bradford funeral home. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Due to severe allergies, in lieu of flowers, Seth’s family requests that donations be made in his memory and honor to the Jimmy Fund.
