Sandown, N.H. residents and city officials are getting ready for the 2017 Old Home Day Fall Festival, taking place this year on Sept. 8 and 9.

Held in the recreation area at 25 Pheasant Run Drive, the annual festival features an adults-only concert by Black Lite Band, a Beer/Wine tent, and a chili and chowder cookoff on Friday from 7 to 11 p.m.

Saturday’s day of activities begins with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m., followed by a parade, live music, pie eating contest and much more. Sandown’s Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year will be named during the second day of the festival.
