Atkinson Police Make Drug Arrests; One Charged Earlier in Haverhill

Atkinson Police arrested three men early Thursday night on drug-related charges, including dealing in heroin.

When the men were stopped for a routine inspection violation just before 7 p.m., they told Officer Marc Melia they were simply “passing through” town. However, upon arrival of backup officers and an investigation, three of the four men in the car were arrested.

Timothy Howe, 30, of Ashland, N.H., was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle and an outstanding warrant for possession of drugs with intent to sell.

Jaimie D’Alessandro, 34, of Plymouth, N.H., was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell and an outstanding warrant for possession of heroin.

Jacob Spencer, 33, of Ashland, N.H., was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

As WHAV reported earlier, Howe was also arrested on drug charges early in July by Haverhill Police on Arlington Street. He and Brett Boelig, 34, of Laconia, N.H., were charged with two counts each of possession of drugs with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. At the time, Deputy Police Chief Anthony Haugh told WHAV the arrests came after police received reports suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

The three men arrested in Atkinson were held on cash bail at Rockingham County Department of Corrections pending arraignments at the 10th Circuit Court-Plaistow Division.
