The story of Robert Louis Stevenson’s “Treasure Island” is coming to Winnekenni Castle courtesy of UNH’s Little Red Wagon children’s theater tour.

On Sunday, Aug. 6, the troupe will stage the free family-friendly play at 2 p.m., taking audiences along as an old pirate buries his loot on the mystical Treasure Island. After the show, a meet and greet with special guests (including a princess!) will take place on the Castle lawn. Balloon artist Doctor Goose will also be on hand to interact with attendees.

Little Red Wagon is the longest-running nonprofit children’s theater tour in the U.S.
