Eduardo Penalo, 79, Worked at Day Care

Eduardo Penalo, 79, husband of Maria “Altagracia” Virgen Penalo, passed away July 25, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bonao, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Eduardo Penalo Garcia and Maria Virgen Perez.

Raised and educated in the Dominican Republic, he came to the United States in 1992. He married his wife Maria in 1975 and has been together for over 42 years. He worked as an assistant in the day care his wife Maria ran for over 20 years. Eduardo loved baseball and was a big Red Sox fan. He enjoyed playing Dominoes and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Leandro Penalo, Jonny Penalo, Francisco Penalo, Juana Vargas, Dannia Penalo, Yaniris Penalo, Yumira Penalo, Sonia Penalo and Willy Penalo; his siblings, Ramona Penalo, Porfia Penalo, Antigua Penalo, Francisca Penalo, Dionisio Penalo; 21 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Ramon M. Penalo, Ramon A. Penalo, Jose Penalo and Felipe Penalo.

 

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 28 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Saturday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
