Career Resources Corporation has been named Business of the Month by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.

The award is given to a Chamber member that is a proven leader in their business or industry and excels in the areas of community involvement, economic growth, customer service and professional relationships.

Since 1968 the non-profit Career Resources Corporation has been assisting people with disabilities to live, work and fully engage within their communities. The Ward Hill-based nonprofit offers a wide range of support services to people with disabilities, including those with brain injuries and veterans of the armed forces.

Vocational Services provides vocational training services, job placement and ongoing job support in the Merrimack Valley. Day Services offers custom goal-oriented programs that promote independence and community membership. Shared Living and Adult Foster Care are options for people who prefer to live at home supported by their families or in a family environment. Community Living Services are group residences providing healthy and supportive living environments.

Business of the Month winners receive a free guest ticket to the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s exclusive “Annual Business Awards Breakfast” and are automatically entered into the running for the Annual Business of the Year award. That honor will be announced during the annual breakfast next February.
