Two Haverhill Residents Receive Rewards for Arson Reporting

Reginald King and Joseph Iannalfo were honored this morning and received rewards for their roles for their roles in helping officials arrest and convict four teens who set the 2015 fire that destroyed a factory building at 30 Stevens St.

King received a check for $2,500 and Iannalfo, son of Haverhill Police Officer Stephen Iannalfo, received $2,000 from the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association’s Arson Watch Reward Program. The ceremony took place at the Water Street Fire Station with Ronald Meehan, Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association; Mayor James J. Fiorentini; Fire Chief William F. Laliberty; State Police Detective Lt. Paul Zipper, commanding officer, Fire and Explosion Investigation Section; and other officials.

Nineteen fire departments, including Haverhill, contained the flames Sunday, Sept.20, 2015, at the former Hudson Machinery Company, 14-30 Stevens St., Haverhill. over a 24-hour span.
