Nunan’s Florist & Greenhouses is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a customer appreciation day on Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In between a noon ceremony with local dignitaries, the Georgetown greenhouse will provide patrons with free hot dogs and popcorn, mini golf specials and gift card giveaways.
For the kids, Nunan’s has face painting, a “Touch a Truck” exhibit and a series of all-ages “Curious Creatures” presentations with live alligators, chinchillas and a bearded dragon. Children play mini golf free from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the purchase of an adult mini golf round.
