Nitza Guadalupe, 64, Certified Nursing Assistant

Nitza_GuadalupeNitza Guadalupe, 64, wife of the late Hector Guadalupe, passed away July 3, at Holy Family Hospital-Haverhill surrounded by her family.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Julio and Ramona (Concepcion) Moran. Raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 10, she then traveled with her family to the United States, settling in New Jersey. Guadalupe lived in New York and Florida before moving to Massachusetts in the 1970s. She was employed as a certified nursing assistant for many years. She enjoyed ceramics and painting figurines. Guadalupe also enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas, cooking and being with friends and family.

Guadalupe is survived by her children, Yvonne Zuniga of Haverhill and Hector Guadalupe and his fiancé` Stephanie Noyes of Haverhill; 11 grandchildren, Amanda Cunningham, Christian Guadalupe, Miguel Velez, Logan Guadalupe, Jaleea Velez, Gloria Nitza Zuniga, Valeria Zuniga, Julio Guadalupe, Autum Rosenburger, Joseph Rosenburger and Damien Rosenburger; five great grandchildren, Jaiden Guadalupe, Jeshua Guadalupe, Jaishlis Guadalupe, Maleki Velez and Kiani Sandoval; siblings, Lucy Losada, Maria Arroyo, Elsa Cordero, Julio Moran, Jackie Moran, Nancy Moran, Janeet Moran; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Hector Guadalupe, she was predeceased by her son in law Julio Zuniga.

Family and friends and respectfully invited to attend calling hours Monday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A service follow at noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
