Linda (True) Cordeau, 68, Showed AKC Championship Samoyeds

Linda (True) Cordeau, 68, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday evening, June 24, at Holy Family Hospital-Haverhill.

Cordeau was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Newburyport, and grew up in Salisbury. She was the daughter of Barbara (Jones) True of Salisbury and Bruce True. She was educated in the Newburyport school system and graduated from Newburyport High School. She furthered her education with the McIntosh Business School. For many years, Cordeau raised, bred and showed AKC Championship Samoyeds. She enjoyed watching the Food Network and was an avid reader (she was never without a book in hand). She also held the position of the family forecaster by keeping us all up to date with the weather.

She was predeceased by her father Bruce True and two brothers, Bruce True Jr. and Bradley True. She is survived by her mother Barbara True of Salisbury; two daughters, Cassandra Campbell and her husband Patrick of Salisbury, and Vikki Montisanti and her husband Jeff of Salisbury; sister Darlene Toomey of Florida; three grandchildren, Calandra Pinette and her husband Francis of Manchester, N.H., Adam Montisanti and Alyssa Montisanti both of Salisbury; as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service at Long Hill Cemetery, 105 Beach Road, Salisbury, Friday, June 30, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
