June B. (Littlefield) Walker, 91

June B. (Littlefield) Walker, 91, of Plaistow, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully June 22, at Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park. She was the wife of the late Neil F. Walker to whom she was married for 66 years.

Born in Haverhill Oct. 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Carlton H. and Gertrude (Fitts) Littlefield. She was educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1943. She and Neil were married in 1945 and moved to Plaistow in 1950 where they raised their family and lived until 2010. She enjoyed golfing as a member of Haverhill Country Club, and was a member of Women’s City Club of Haverhill. Walker focused her love and attention on her family and friends, and enjoyed the time in their company at her camp on Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, N.H.

Walker is survived by her children, Douglas Walker and his wife Lorna of Sandown, N.H., Tom Walker and his wife Judy of San Diego, Calif., Susan Coppeta and her husband David of Atkinson, N.H.; grandchildren, Christopher Walker and his wife Tamsyn, and their daughter Christina, Daniel Walker, Timothy Walker, Andrew Walker, Rebecca Walker, Michael Coppeta, Joseph Coppeta and Natalie Coppeta; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arlene Prophet, Bette Fionte and Carleton Littlefield.

Arrangements, under the direction of Dole, Childs and Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill, are private and at the family’s convenience. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
