Open Mike Tonight Talks Hillies Football, Golf and More

Frank Komola will be discussing sports, history and a combination of the two during tonight’s Open Mike Show, starting at 6:30.

Bonnie Sisson, development coordinator at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, will be in studio to preview the agency’s upcoming golf event and the programs the tournament supports.

Komola will then be joined by Michael Young to discuss his father Ernie’s new book, “Hillies, 125 Years of Haverhill Football.” Young is the editor and publisher of this two-volume book of statistical history.

Author Michael Cormier also returns to discuss his new play, “Saltonstall’s Trial,” and the Haverhill’s connections to the famous Salem Witch Trials.

Attorney Joseph C. Edwards brings all guests together for a sports discussion.

Besides 97.9 WHAV FM, the program is also heard at WHAV.net and, with video, at WHAV.TV, WHAV’s Facebook page and HC Media Channel 22.
