Emmaus, Inc., will host its 29th annual Cycle for Shelter on July 23, featuring a brand-new “New England Fun Ride,” a 20-mile guided group ride around the Merrimack Valley.

Beginning and ending at Northern Essex Community College’s Hartleb Technology Center, the day’s four charity rides vary from 100- 62-, 40- and 20-miles through Massachusetts and New Hampshire, with riders raising funds for Emmaus’ affordable housing and emergency shelter services.

As part of the 2017 Cycle for Shelter, all riders will be treated to a post-event cookout. The 20-mile “New England Fun Ride” will include stops at Ingaldsby Farm, Carter’s ice cream and other area attractions.

The event, sponsored in part by WHAV, will be held rain or shine, and more than 200 cyclists are expected to take part.
