Anthony D. Cunningham, 25, Died After Car Crash

Anthony_CunninghamAnthony D. Cunningham, 25, passed away June 3, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of David Cheatham of Thomson, Ga., and Kristi Lyn Cunningham of Haverhill. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 2008. He was raised by his grandparents, Judy Cunningham of Haverhill and the late Donald Cunningham. His grandfather taught him all about cars and Anthony became a talented mechanic. He rebuilt an old race car as his own. He loved to spend time with his family at their camp in Ossippee, N.H. It is there that he developed a love for hunting and fishing. During high school, he played football and baseball and was an avid sports fan. He was a painting contractor in the Merrimack Valley area.

Besides his parents, Cunningham is survived by grandmothers, Judy Cunningham of Haverhill and Mary Hill-Cheatham of Ga;  daughter, Natyllie Huff of Thomson, Ga; brother, Jesse Cunningham of Haverhill; sisters, Megan Cunningham of Haverhill; Amanda Cunningham of Seabrook, N.H.; Torez Cheatham, Davionce Cheatham, Da’Miyah Cheatham, De’Amanisha Cheatham, Tomeka Few and Natasha Gills of Ga.; aunts, Melisa Cunningham and Kayla Devine; uncle, Shauncey and Shauntis Cheatham; and many cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., at  Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
