Louis G. Ouellette, 70, Worked with Machine Companies

Louis G. Ouellette, 70, of Methuen and formerly of Haverhill, passed away suddenly May 29, at Lawrence General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Renee (McClure) Ouellette.

Born in Haverhill, July 18, 1946, he was the son of the late Gerard E. and Alice L. (Panneton) Ouellette. Following school, Ouellestte’ work career spanned many years with various machine companies in the Haverhill area. He was an extremely devoted fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed following their exploits in the news and on TV. His support and devotion to his family, as well as attending social events, was the focus of his life.

Ouellette is survived by his daughter, Louann A. Santos and her husband Greg of Methuen; grandchildren, Jake, Zachary and Alana Santos of Methuen; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Moskal and her husband Danny of Methuen and Shirley Provencher and husband Steve of Amesbury; brother-in-law, Alan McClure and his wife Nancy of Derry, N.H.; sisters, Valda Gates of Rye, N.H., Donna Bodwell and her husband Les of Maine; devoted family friend, Barry Levy of Methuen; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life Saturday, July 22, 2 p.m., at  Amvets Hall, 576 Primrose St., Haverhill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his daughter, Louann Santos, 4 Washington St., Apt. #7, Methuen, MA 01844. Arrangements are under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill.
