‘Diva’ Takes Place Thursday; Benefits Cogswell Artspace

“Diva,” an all-female cast of singers, appears at a concert benefiting the Cogswell Artspace Initiative, Thursday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m.

A preview of the program takes place on WHAV’s Open Mike Show, tonight, beginning at 6:30 with host Frank Komola.

The concert takes place at First Church of Christ, 10 Church St., Bradford. Selections of songs from musical theatre, opera and art song catalogues will be sung by the 12 female cast members. Songs include Cabaret, Burn from Hamilton, Got A Lot of Livin’ To Do from Bye Bye Birdie, a Scottish Traditional song, Parting Glass, Deh Vieni from The Marriage of Figaro and Quando M’en Vo from La Bohem.

The cast includes Avery Butler, Heather Butler, Meghan Cary, Margaret DiGrazia, Michelle Grasso, Sandra Huerta, Risa Kapp, Carol Messina, Amy Nelson, Brooke Nelson, Brenda Pothier and Lauren Sprague.
