Tony Sargent, 61, Worked as Security Director

Tony Sargent, 61, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 28, at Cedar View Rehab, Methuen.

Sargent was born in Midland, Texas, July 24, 1955, son of Bennie Jo (Schwanbeck) Sargent and the late Eldon Sargent. He was educated in the Texas School system and was employed as a security director for many years. Sargent enjoyed time spent on the computer, reading and planning and attending family gatherings. He was an Eagle Scout and earned the God and Community Award.

He was predeceased by a step son, Shaun Earley, who passed away in September, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Kelley) Earley Sargent of Wilmington; mother, Bennie Jo Sargent of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Jennifer Carpenter and her husband Craig of Midland, Texas, and Christy Alsbrook and her husband Robert; step Daughter Kathleen M. Ahokas and her husband Nathan of Arvada, Colo.; two step sons, James M. Earley and his wife Jennifer of Westminster, Colo., and Daniel L. Earley and his wife Ann of Ashburnham; sister Barbara Weatherspoon of Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren, Connor, Thomas, Steven, Hailey, Dalton and Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren; two great- grandchildren, Brantley and Jeremy; and eight step grandchildren, Lauren, Meaghan, Nathan, Christopher, Liam, Aidan, Hannah, and Malia.

At the request of his family, services will be private and at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
