David Harding, 56, Motorcycle, Classic Cars Enthusisast

David_HardingDavid Harding, 56, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones Tuesday morning, May 23.

Harding had a love for motorcycles, music, classic cars, construction and The Wizard of Oz. He got his first motorcycle at the age of 16, and that became his lifelong love. He was very passionate about classic cars, especially American muscle cars, like his ’66 Dodge Coronet, which was his pride and joy. He was mechanically inclined, enjoyed construction and was always working on a project whether is be his house, motorcycle, or car and he could fix almost anything.

He is survived by a son, Dana Harding of Chester, N.H.; daughters, Keri DiMarca of Lawrence, Jamie Potter of Cary, N.C., Sheri Davidson of Haverhill, Kayla Harding of Haverhill, and Jesica Harding of Haverhill; stepson, Shawn Noel of Haverhill; his girlfriend of seven years, Sue Dorough; mother, Helene Saldi; two sisters, April Mixon and Denise Andrews; brother John Harding IV; two nieces; four nephews; and 10 grandchildren.

Celebration of Harding’s Life is held Saturday, May 27, at Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main St., Haverhill, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the YouCaring Fund for MS research through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
