Draven I. Newsome, 20, passed away May 14, in Haverhill.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Steven Bates and Tammy Newsome. He was raised and educated in Haverhill, Newsome attended St. James Alternative School in Haverhill. He played hockey during his high school years at St. James. He loved to make people laugh and was known as a prankster. He enjoyed all kinds of music.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Garbriella Rosa-Debbie Newsome.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, May 20, 2 p.m., at the Community Christian Church, 358 Washington St., Haverhill. Family and friends are also invited to bring a dish to share for the mercy meal at the conclusion of the service. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
