Haverhill Chamber Announces Saturday’s KidsFest Schedule

The final performance schedule for KidsFest, taking place this Saturday, has been set by by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce.

The event feature two stages of live music and dance performances, children’s games and craft projects and food. Highlights include the junior and senior “Haverhill Idol” competitions. Other stage events include a demonstration by Ocasio’s True Martial Arts and music performed by Thomasina Glenn, Be Imagine Bands and others.

Businesses and organizations are also expected to present information on safety, health and wellness, special needs, education, child care, and other family-related topics. There will be art projects children can make and take home, inflatable fun, origami, balloon animals, character meet and greets and other activities.

The free, annual event kicks off with an address by Haverhill Mayor James J. Fiorentini at 11 a.m., Saturday. Activities continue until 4 p.m., in the Riverfront Cultural District.
