Here is a listing of Haverhill’s Better Block activities taking place Saturday, May 6, along Merrimack Street, between How and Main Streets.

10 a.m.- noon: Elite BikeRide (begins at RiversideCycle)

11 a.m.- 7 p.m.: Market Opens, Tiny House Tours

11 a.m.- 7 p.m.: Ipswich Beer Garden Opens

Noon- 1:30 p.m.: Community Bicycle Ride led by Mayor James J. Fiorentini (meet at Pop up Bicycle Shop)

2-3:30 p.m.: Community Bicycle Ride (meet at Pop up Bicycle Shop)

3-4 p.m.: River Walk Tour (meet at Wood-Wind Walk-About’s Booth

  1. O+ Festival is Friday and Saturday and overlaps Better Block somewhat but not entirely
    O+ is bringing Art/Literature and music (Mural on the Haverhill Bank side of the Rent-A-Center building, The Name Project AIDS Memorial Quilt panels at Phoenix Rising Church) and music/writing (Chit Chat, Acoustic Alley, Battle Grounds Coffee Shop, Better Block,) and in exchange for wellness activities (Phoenix Rising Church, Giving Tree Yoga, Ocasios Martial Arts).
