WHAV’s Open Mike Show tonight looks at what’s in store at Haverhill’s Earth Day plans as well as plans by the Timberlane Community Band for its 17th annual Spring Pops concert.

David LaBrode, an organizer of Haverhill’s Earth Day Clean Up, Sat. April 22, is expected to discuss arrangements for the event and incentives for participants.

Kathleen McGuirk, Timberlane Community Band president, and conductor John Mainella discuss “Through the Decades,” featuring music from the 1950s to the 80s. Proceeds from the event, which includes a buffet dinner and silent auction, benefit the Timberlane Scholarship Fund and Timberlane School District Music Program. The concert takes place Friday, April 28, 6 p.m., at Castleton, Windham, N.H.
