Donald Yacubacci, 71, Worked for Telephone Co.

Donald_YacubacciDonald Yacubacci, 71, of Haverhill, husband of Pamela S. (Currier) Yacubacci, passed away April 1, at his home surrounded by his family after a seven-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Warren and Helen (Laskiewicz) Yacubacci. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1967. After leaving the service, he was employed as a service technician for the telephone company for more than 26 years. Yacubacci and his wife Pamela loved to travel and, for many years, they drove across the country hitting every casino along the way. He also enjoyed taking cruises to the islands. His most precious moments were time spent with family, especially his beloved great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Pamela, he is survived by his children, Sarah Yacubacci of Newbury; David Yacubacci and his wife Carrie of Haverhill; Michelle Yacubacci of Haverhill; two grandchildren, Derrick McNutt; Joseph Morrill; three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Bryleigh and Cassidy Melanson; and a  cousin, Blanche Short of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Monday April, 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
