Hilda (Kaufman) Pollack, 91, a longtime resident of Haverhill passed away Tuesday April 4, at Boston Medical Center.
She was born in Lynn, April 11, 1925, daughter of the late Samuel and Annie Kaufman. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School and was employed for many years at JM Fields and June’s House of Fashion both in Haverhill. She was a member of Temple Emanu-El in Haverhill as well as Hadassah and the Sisterhood.
She was the wife of the late Herbert Pollack who died April 2, 2006, and is survived by her two sons Edward M. Pollack and his wife Cathie of Methuen and Steven B. Pollack of Kingston, N.H.; four grandsons, Michael L., Charles R., David J. and Joseph A. Pollack. She was also the sister of the late Harry and Louis Kaufman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral Thursday, April 6, 10:30 a.m., at H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Burial will follow in the Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill. There will be no memorial period. Contributions in her memory may be made to the donor’s choice.
