Recovering Champions and Serenity at Summit are hosting a panel to discuss addiction and various treatment options available in the Haverhill area.

Why “‘Just Detox’ Doesn’t Work” seeks to help participates understand the many available service options, as well as address limitations and advantages of each approach. Panelists are Jim Kane, Summit Behavioral Health; Toby Lineaweaver and Alyssa Horton, Recovering Champions; Pierce Alibirti, Dean’s House of Recovery; Dan O’Connor, Ad Care; and Sarah Corbin, Serenity at Summit.

The discussion takes place Thursday, April 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Northern Essex Community College, Hartleb Technology Center, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill. The event is free but space is limited.
