Align’s Rivera-Cintron to Receive Two Awards

Jen Rivera-Cintron, assistant vice president at Align Credit Union, has been recognized both by the Cooperative Credit Union League as a Credit Union Rising Star and the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce with a Distinguished Young Professional Award.

Rivera-Cintron, who serves as Hale Street and Cross Point, Lowell, branch manager, was nominated as a “rising star” by colleagues as an outstanding employee, manager or business leader, aged 50 or under, and “making a notable impact on their institution or within the credit union industry.” Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges from among 26 nominations submitted by 21 credit unions. Winners receive awards April 27 at a special awards breakfast at the Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center, Boxborough.

“Everyone at Align is so proud of Jen and thrilled that she’s been recognized for all her hard work and dedication to helping our members and the community,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi.

The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Young Professional Award is given to young professionals based on outstanding leadership, business achievement and commitment to the community. Winners receive awards March 29, at a luch at the Tewksbury Country Club, Tewksbury.

“Jen is a vital asset to our management team,” said Align Vice President of Human Resources Kelly Davidson. “Her dedication, enthusiasm and desire to help others make her an exceptional role model at Align.”
