HHS Chorus and Drama Present ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’

“The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” the unfinished last novel by Charles Dickens, will be presented by the Haverhill High School Chorus and Drama Clubs during four performances in April.

The play focuses on Drood’s uncle, John Jasper, who competes with Drood for the affections of Rosa Bud. Bud has also caught the eye of Neville Landless, Drood later disappears under mysterious circumstances.

Performances take place Thursday and Friday, April 6 and 7, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Haverhill High School Auditorium. Tickets are $8 or $5 for students and senior citizens and available at the door.
