Donna J. Chase, 57, passed away unexpectedly March 16 at Holy Family at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of Harriet (Chase) Hartford and the late Francis R. Fuller. She was a graduate of Newburyport High School, class of 1977. She was a property manager for several local housing complexes. Chase was also employed as a bouncer for the former Comeau’s Café in Haverhill. She was a big Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. She enjoyed play card games, especially her favorite which was 45s.
In addition to her mother Harriet, she is survived by her siblings, Marilyn Brown and her husband Reggie of Amesbury, Richard Chase of Shirley, Alice Chase-Fournier and her partner Norman Kennedy of Clearwater, Fla., Diana Fuller and Raphael Velazquez of Haverhill, Debra Chase-Bretton of Sandown, N.H., MaryJo Chase-Alvarez of Dracut, Brenda Chase-Alvarez and her husband Miguel of Haverhill, Darlene Chase and Laurie Grover of Haverhill, Lisa Chase-Cuellar and Jose Perez of Haverhill, Barbara Chase and Miguel Cuevas of Haverhill; cousin George King; close friends Randy Evans and Sandy Finnegan, both of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Helen McIntyre.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Thursday, March 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service follows at 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
