Police Charge Haverhill Man, 62, with Drug Dealing

A 62-year-old Haverhill man was charged with possession and distribution of drugs last Thursday afternoon.

Myron Belmer, 5 Brookline Ave., Haverhill, was arrested just before 4:30 p.m., on Locke Street, downtown. Initial reports did not list the specific drug, but it is in a class that includes pills and marijuana.

In other police news:

Eric Marcello, 33, of Methuen, was charged Friday morning with receiving stolen property, two counts of forgery of a check, presenting a false check and larceny of more than $250 in value. In addition, Marcello was also arrested just after 9 a.m. on such motor vehicle charges as driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended automobile registration.

Daniel Anzaldi, 49, 27 Vine St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:10 p.m., Thursday, near Winnkenni Castle, and charged with his third offense for drunken driving, drinking alcohol from an open container in his vehicle, driving with a revoked license, driving an unregistered automobile and a number plate violation.
