Eleanor M. Peters, 90, Former Hale Hospital Nurse

Eleanor M. Peters, 90, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Friday, March 10, in Haverhill.

She was born Feb. 13, 1927. She was raised in Chelsea and has been a resident of Haverhill for many decades. She was employed at the Hale Hospital as a nurse until her retirement. Peters was a woman of deep faith and longtime parishioner of All Saints Parish. After visiting Portugal, she became a supporter of more than 30 years of the Blue Army of Fatima. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist Parish for many years.

Her surviving family members included her children Oliver David of Haverhill, Robert David of Haverhill, Beverly Nichols of S.D., Anne Ray of Ill., Susan David of Newburyport, Theresa David of Haverhill and Nancy David Russell of Derry, N.H.; niece Sandra Peters of Nashua, N.H.; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was the mother of the late Mary Ann Prescott, Karen Saylor and Paul David.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 13, in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill at 1:30 p.m. Burial follows in City Central Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill.
