Dr. Fred Feldman, a Holocaust survivor, presents, “From Darkness to Hope: A Holocaust Survival Story,” Sunday, March 26, at Temple Emanu-El, 514 Main St., Haverhill.

Dr. Fred Feldman, a Holocaust survivor, was born in Azerbaijan during World War II while his parents were fleeing from advancing German armies. An avid genealogist, Feldman traced his family’s journey across Europe and Asia, from Poland to the Ural Mountains, Crimea, Azerbaijan, Austria and, finally, the United States.

A continental breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m., and the presentation follows at 10
a.m. While last minute walk-ins are welcome, registrations are encouraged by contacting the Temple office by emailing [email protected] or calling her at 978-373-3861. A donation of $5 per person is suggested.
