Pacheco Becomes HHS Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse Coach

Kate Pacheco has been named head coach of the Haverhill High School Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse Team.

Pacheco served as an assistant coach for the Southern New Hampshire University women’s lacrosse program for the past three years. She also is on the staff at Homegrown Lacrosse, North Andover, as an elite coach. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Lowell High School.

Pacheco played for four years as a defender for the Plymouth State University lacrosse program. She was named captain her junior and senior years and was the school’s Panther Athletic Award recipient.

Superintendent James F. Scully announced the appointment today, following a recommendation made by Tom O’Brien, director of athletics and wellness.
