Police Find N.H. Man Slumped Over Wheel; Discover Heroin, Xanax

A 23-year-old, Hampstead, N.H., man was charged this weekend with possession of heroin and Xanax with intent to distribute after he was found slumped over the wheel of his car at a local restaurant.

Kyle Braciska was arrested about 11 a.m., Saturday, at 56 Plaistow Road, and also charged with driving while under the influence of drugs.

When Haverhill police responded, an officer saw a baggy, believed to contain heroin, in the car, said Detective Lt. Robert P. Pistone, police spokesman.

In other police news:

Dayle Harasen, 41, 246 Ferry Road, Bradford, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an automobile accident with property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation after her arrest at 12:26 a.m., Saturday.

Justin Walsh, 38, of 34 Lafayette St., was charged with threatening to commit a crime and destruction of property following his arrest at 3:05 p.m., Saturday, on Lafayette Street.

Catherine Pettaway, 28, off 55 Summer St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery, Saturday, shortly after 6 p.m., at her home.

Jose Vasquez, 22, of 2 Swasey St., was arrested Saturday at 9:45 p.m., on Main Street, and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs.
