Police Arrest Haverhill DPW Worker for Drug Possession

A 26-year-old Haverhill Department of Public Works employee was arrested by Haverhill narcotics detectives Tuesday afternoon for possession of Percocet.

Daniel J. Murray, 26, of Haverhill was arrested just before 4 p.m., at 67 Broadway, after an investigation, according to police. He was booked at Haverhill Police Station and released on bail pending his arraignment in Haverhill District Court Wednesday.

WHAV attempted to reach Haverhill Mayor James J. Fiorentini late Tuesday night, but was unsuccessful.
