Hanlon Joins Haverhill Bank as Vice President

A. Richard “Dick” Hanlon, of Pelham, N.H., recently joined Haverhill Bank as vice president, commercial lending.

Hanlon, based out of the bank’s Salem, N.H., branch, is responsible for the lending needs of business customers from expansion to repairs to equipment financing. Besides servicing existing bank customers, Hanlon’s focus is expanding the bank’s lending base in the Greater Salem area.

Prior to joining Haverhill Bank, Hanlon worked as assistant vice president of business lending at Merrimack Valley Federal Credit Union and brings 39 years of banking and business development experience to his new position. He is a graduate of the former Lowell Technological Institute (now UMass Lowell) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He is an active member of numerous organizations throughout the Greater Salem area, including the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Salem Contractors Association. He also volunteers his time to the Windham Christmas Fund, Crotched Mountain Rehab Center, New Horizons and Nashua High School South Food Pantry. He has also previously served on the Lawrence Partnership Venture Fund Loan Committee.
