What does the telephone, Bartlett Pear and a fire extinguisher all have in common? Their inventors all had Haverhill connections!

In time for school break, children ages 6 through 12, have a chance to learn about the many inventors with Haverhill ties who changed the world. These include Alexander Graham Bell and Dr. James Nichols.

The workshop takes place Thursday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St, Haverhill. The cost is $15 for non-members and $10 for museum members. The fee includes two snacks and craft materials. Space is limited and registration is required. Email [email protected] for a form.
