Barbara J. Descoteaux, 52, Longtime Wal-Mart Employee

Barbara_DescoteauxBarbara J. Descoteaux, 52, of Salem, N.H., and for,erly of Haverhill, passed away Feb. 1, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Raoul and Catherine J. (Dusombre) Descoteaux. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1983. Descoteaux was employed at Walmart for many years. She was a puzzle enthusiast her entire life. She enjoyed staying home and watching her favorite television shows.

Descoteaux is survived by her siblings, Michael J. Descoteaux of Salem, N.H., David E. Descoteaux and his wife Lakhunthea of Lowell, Gary Descoteaux and his wife Kelly of Vermont, Robert L. Descoteaux of Danville, N.H.; Debra A. Descoteaux of Salem, N.H., and Elaine M. Campbell and her husband James of Salem, N.H.; aunts and uncles, Robert Dusombre of Seabrook, N.H., Leonel Dusombre of Derry, N.H., Gilbert Dusombre of Haverhill, Helen St. Cyr and Janet Langlois, both of Haverhill, Peggy Murry of Washington and Sally Hardy of Seabrook, N.H.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Nancy Maynard and uncles Fredrick, Richard and John Dusombre; aunts Marilyn Deveau and Marjorie Chadwick.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon, at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
