Annie M. B. Marcinkevich, 84, Worked at at Western Electric

Anne_MarcinkevichAnnie M. B. Marcinkevich, 84, of Lawrence and longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully Friday morning, Feb. 3, in Haverhill.

Marcinkevich was born Oct. 8, 1932, daughter of Alexander and Mary Marcinkevich, both of Lithuania. She was raised in Lawrence and attended Lawrence schools. She worked for many years at Western Electric until her retirement in 1982. She also worked at the Lanam Club, Andover and the Old Tavern Restaurant in Methuen. She loved sewing and was a fantastic seamstress. Marcinkevich was a dog lover especially with her beloved Bandit, a shepherd, husky and wolf mix.

Her family include her longtime friend Richard A. Correlle of Haverhill; sister in-law Barbara Marcinkevich; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charlie and John Marcinkevich.

Her funeral is Tuesday morning, Feb. 7, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St. (route 125), Bradford, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel of Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford, at 10 a.m. Burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Visiting hours are Monday in the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m.
