Staff, Students Boost Haverhill High at Middle School Visits

This week and next, staff and students from Haverhill High School will visit local middle schools to talk about the opportunities at the city’s public high school. Representatives from Athletics, Classical Academy, the Fine Arts and Business departments, STEM Academy, Humanities, and new vocational programs will visit students at Nettle, Consentino, Hunking, JG Whittier, Hillview Montessori, Sacred Hearts and St. Joseph schools.

Haverhill students have a number of high school choices in addition to Haverhill High School, including Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Phillips Academy in Andover, Brooks School in North Andover and Governor’s Academy in Byfield.

In the last few years, local middle schoolers have been choosing Haverhill High School in increasing numbers, said Superintendent James F. Scully.
