Jacqueline J. Downs, 38, of Haverhill, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 14, at her home.
She was born in Newburyport, Feb. 11, 1978, daughter of Grace Downs of Haverhill and was educated in the Haverhill school system. For the past 10 years she was employed as a clerk at Cumberland Farms, Monument Square, Haverhill.
She was the mother of the late Brenda N. Downs, who died in 1997, and the late Joseph G. Green Jr., who died in 2014.
Besides her mother her survivors include a son, Timothy J. Rogers of Ayer; daughter; Kayla G. Green of Haverhill; sister Janet Rowe and her husband Herbert of Haverhill; brother Jesse Downs of Haverhill; significant other, Grover Simpson Jr.; step-son Grover Simpson III; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Saturday afternoon, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4:45, at Calvary Baptist Church, 13 Ashland St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 5, at the Church. Burial will be private in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
