Haverhill Men Face Assault-Related Charges

Under circumstances that are not yet clear, two Haverhill men were arrested on assault-related charged Friday afternoon on Main Street.

Jacob Daher, 30, 440 North Ave., was arrested by Haverhill Police and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, at 12:22, while John Burkhardt, 21, 28 Hillside Ave., was arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery at 12:36.

In other police news:

Stephanie Tellado, 26, 30 Vine St., was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, at 2:12, Thursday afternoon, at Westgate Shopping Center, 400 Lowell Ave.

John Perrault, 70, of 29 Sawyer St., was arrested around 9 p.m., Thursday, at 33 Sawyer St., and charged with violation of a harassment protection order.

Jose Barcelo, 55, 93 White St., was arrested Friday, Jan. 13, at 9:23 a.m., at 113 White St., and charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

Eric Brolin, 24, 37 Howard St., was arrested Saturday, Jan. 14, 1:21 a.m., at 323 Main St., and charged with driving while under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of an automobile and crossing marked lanes.

Luis Zhagney, 25, 31 Washington St., was arrested Saturday, Jan. 14, 4:32 a.m., at 160 Main St., and charged with driving while under the influence of liquor, drinking alcohol from an open container, unlicensed driving and speeding.

Jonathan Gonzalez, 27, 211 South Main St., was arrested Saturday, Jan. 14, 4:57 a.m., at 109 High St., and charged with driving while under the influence of liquor, second offense.

Jeffrey Davis, 46, of West Newbury, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 14, just before 4 p.m., on Main Street, and charged with unsafe operation of an automobile.

Melissa Barber, 40, 6 Highland Ave., was arrested Saturday, Jan. 14, 10:37 p.m., on Main Street, and charged with driving with a revoked license.
