Trooper Finds Manchester, N.H., Man with Drugs After Routine Stop

A Manchester, N.H., man was found Tuesday with cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and other drugs, after he was pulled over on I-95 in Georgetown by Massachusetts State Police.

Derek Gawrys, 33, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, distribution of methamphetamine and 10 other counts of possessing and distributing drugs.

Gawrys, who was driving a grey Lexus, was pulled over by Trooper Michael Gerniglia for motor vehicle violations, including crossing marked lanes.

He was arraignment yesterday in Haverhill District Court.
