Kevin M. Dudley, 48, Worked as Brick Mason

kevin_dudleyKevin M. Dudley, 48, of Amesbury and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Jan. 3.

Born in Haverhill Oct. 25, 1968, he was the son of Larry C. and Karen J. (Flinn) Dudley of Haverhill. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill schools. He was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1986. While at Whittier Tech he learned the masonry profession. He worked as a brick mason for many years, designing chimneys and hearths along with other brick work. He has lived in Amesbury for the past few years. Dudley was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was active in sports and was an outstanding athlete in high school, in both football and baseball. He was also a member of the wrestling team. He loved being outdoors, fishing and playing horseshoes.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Jody (Dudley) Gonyer of Plaistow, N.H.; nephew, Jacob Gonyer and his wife Jessica of Haverhill; great niece, Adaline Gonyer of Haverhill; niece Kiana Gonyer of Manchester, N.H; uncle, Tom Flinn of Seabrook, N.H.; cousins, John Flinn and his wife Laurie of Haverhill and Tony Flinn of Stow. He also leaves behind close and special friends from Amesbury.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, Jan. 12, 5 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Visiting hours  follow until 8 p.m.. Charitable contributions may be made in his name to Our Neighbor’s Table, P. O. Box 592, Amesbury, MA 01913.
