Frances M. (Skibicki) Davoli, 88, Haverhill Teacher’s Aide

frances_davoliFrances M. (Skibicki) Davoli, 88, formerly of Haverhill, wife of the late Donald F. Davoli, passed away Jan. 1, at her home in Methuen.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Bronc and Irene (Heroux) Skibicki. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1946. She married Donald in 1946 and they were married for 59 years. She worked at Western Electric for 25 years and as a teacher’s aide in Special Ed for Haverhill public schools. She came from a large family and enjoyed the holidays, especially the gift giving and cooking. She loved card games and day trips to Foxwoods Casino. She also enjoyed playing cribbage.

Davoli is survived by her children, Denise L. Picard and her husband Michael of West Newbury, and Donald F. Davoli and his wife Judith (Accardi) of Bradford; three grandchildren, Derek Davoli, Alicia Picard, Jacob Picard; two great grandchildren, Ben Davoli and Kaleigh Davoli; two sisters, Donna Muse and her husband Jack of Haverhill; Judy Skibicki; her brother Ben Skibicki and his wife Joan; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 10 sisters and one brother.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
