Rowley Man Faces Charge of Assault with Dangerous Weapon

A Rowley man was arrested by Haverhill police early Friday night on a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Brian King, 50, of 959 Haverhill St., Rowley, was taken into custody Friday night, shortly after 6, at 82 Middlesex St., Haverhill. Details were not available because the department’s records office was closed for the New Year’s holiday.

A 53-year-old Haverhill man was arrested Friday morning on warrants related to assault and battery on a police officer, among other charges.

William Martin, 25 Downing Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:14 by Haverhill police on Arlington Street in connection with the warrants, which also relate to resisting arrest, threatening to commit a crime, disorderly conduct and trespassing. Arrest logs do not indicate when the alleged crimes occurred.

Hector Sanchez, 21, 2 Allston St., Lawrence, was arrested at 6:30 p.m., Friday, on River Street, on warrants related to driving with a suspended license, without insurance and an unregistered vehicle.

John E. Serratore, 33, 21 Ayer St., Haverhill, was arrested Friday, at 10:25 p.m., on Pilling Street on warrants related to larceny under $250, credit card theft and forging or misusing a credit card.
