Eleven Haverhilll High School seniors received on-the-spot acceptance to Salem State University when admissions representatives visited the school earlier this month. Fisher College will visit next, on Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. Seniors who wish to meet with someone from the Boston college should speak with their guidance counselors.
More than 30 students received same-day acceptance to Northern Essex Community College in December.
When students return from holiday break on Jan. 3, Haverhill High seniors will have access to the school’s online Scholarship Portal, where students can look up and apply for scholarships offered by Haverhill High School only for HHS students. Directions on how to access the portal can be found on the School Counseling Department page on the HHS website. All senior English teachers will receive copies of the HHS Scholarship Database Directions to distribute in class.
